Group Length: 60 minutes

Location Requirements: Participants MUST reside in either Florida or Oregon

Rest & Resilience Studio is an Art Therapy group for adults living with chronic illness and/or chronic pain. Together, we use conceptual artmaking to explore the lived experience of chronic illness. Taking what’s invisible, misunderstood, or hard to name, and exploring it through color, texture, and form.

  • This group offers a safe space to:

    • explore identity, grief, uncertainty, resilience, and many other emotions that arise when managing chronic health concerns

    • connect with others who “get it,” without needing to explain or minimize your experience

No art experience is needed. Prompts are accessible, and focused on expression.

  • This group may be a good fit for you if:

    • you are 18+

    • you live with chronic illness (diagnosed or undiagnosed) and want supportive community

    • you are comfortable participating in a telehealth group format

    • you want a creative way to process what you’re experiencing

This group may not be a good fit at this time if:

    • you’re currently in crisis or needing a higher level of care.

  • Each session is designed to be supportive and accessible, and typically includes:

    • grounding + arrival

    • a brief check-in

    • a guided art prompt

    • supportive processing and reflection

    • a gentle closing + optional between-session practice prompt

Themes may include: visibility/invisibility, spoon theory and capacity, body listening, boundaries, uncertainty, identity shifts, self-compassion, and integration.

Pay Structure

The standard rate is $15 per session.

A limited number of sliding-scale options are available:

  • $5/session — access rate

  • $25/session — supporter rate (helps fund access spots)

You can choose different rates across sessions based on what’s manageable.

Pay in full option:$150 for the full series.
